Vinland Futures Research & Development Corporation (VFRDC)

Purposes

The VFRDC was established in April 2017 for the following purposes:

1. To promote and initiate social and economic development (in the area encompassed from Raleigh / Ship Cove to L'Anse aux Meadows) by encouraging the establishment of business ventures which the Board of Directors believe (in consultation with the various communities) will be of genuine benefit to the people and future of the area.

2. To engage in any one or more lawful modes of acquiring, managing, producing, exchanging and/or distributing any type of property, commodities, goods or services for the benefit of the area.

3. To promote and facilitate ongoing discussions and debate regarding sustainability issues amongst stakeholder groups for the benefit of the area.
